Guess whos sick...

It figures. My trip to PA got me ill. Was a good time, till now.

Flying back stunk. Once again Northwest made me late. Spent more time on the plane on the ground than I was in the air. Among other things...the plane in front of us drove off the runway into a snowbank. GG pilot!

Well, if everyone could do me a favor and help a brotha out...wish me back to health by next Thursday. I REALLY don't want to get on a plane sick. :(

Merry Christmas

Well, something a little spontaneous happened. A friend of mine got the bright idea of me getting on a plane on the 23rd and fly out to Pennsylvania for Christmas.

I fly right into one of the worst snowstorms in recent memory for Ohio.

Well, the morning of the 23rd we booked a flight for that afternoon. It was really weird tho, we got the flight off of NWA.com for $288. That is rather odd for a same day flight. Of course in true Northwest Airlines fashion...they were late. (no...I am not letting them use the weather as an excuse)

Well...its a good time...other than Alexa (my little 3rd grade friend) singing Christmas songs all the time. But its the pain you have to go through on Christmas.

Had Christmas on Saturday. Was good. Nephews had a good time (like usual) so thats the main thing. But boy am I tired...was trying to sleep on Saturday night but maybe got 4 hours at the most. My brother-in-law decided to play his drums at 4:30 in the morning. Was not good for me when I had to drive back home 2 1/2 hours early that morning. Oh well...I survived.

Well...now for an exciting night of laundry and wrestling.

Worst show ever...

Watching the Video Game Awards on SPIKETV right now. My god... who writes the dialog for this??? Not to mention...didn't anyone think of giving the presenters their lines before they had to read them? I think I liked last years show better just because they just gave out awards and didnt try to be an awards show.

Well...we are 3 weeks away from my trip to Vegas. I will get to see a lot of these new video games previewed there. WOOHOO!

Anyway...I don't have much to say...but thought I should say something. Just too tired I guess...

Can't believe the loons out there. I'm sure everyone has heard what happened in Columbus, OH.

The bravery of the people who died trying to save lives (including the cop who entered the building alone when policy is to wait for backup) should never be forgotten.

But I only wish the guy who did this could have lived. I would have loved for him to hit prison and have his ass kicked every day until he is killed by the Pantera fans in prison. He didn't suffer enough for what he did.

I am so stoked!

Last week I was pissed at FedEx. Ordered some stuff from Newegg.com and it made it to Sioux Falls in under 2 days. But my package sits for 36 hours here in town before it is put on a truck to be delivered. WTF is up with that!!!! How tough is it to fill up where they load the trucks with what came in that night? I blame the unions...

Anyway...back to what I am so happy about. I am going to Vegas!!! I won 2 passes to the Consumer Electronics Show (www.cesweb.org) January 6th through 9th. Only problem is I have to pay for the flight and hotel...but this is a chance that I can't pass up. Did find airfare and hotel for 3 nights right off the strip for under $400. Not too shabby.

Been a bad week so far...

Back is killing me (hurt it bowling), worst week of bowling this year (164 average this week when I had a 205 average), sleep has been terrible and work has been a pain (end of the month yesterday).

Does it sound like I'm bitching? Good...cuz I am.

Have darts tomorrow (oh yeah...That should help my back). Maybe we can turn around how we did 2 weeks ago with our 2 wins and 7 losses. That would make me happy (or slightly more chipper).

Ok...That's not all I have to bitch about but I just don't think I need to pour it all out right now.
