Kinda sad...But kinda nice...

Went to Buffalo Wild Wings on Tuesday night at about 9pm. Met some friends down there.

Forgot to look at the sign outside (but did about 20 min after getting there) to see if it still said MLB Package. It did.

Well...I asked the bartender what the deal was, THEY HAD THE PACKAGE ON FRIDAY NIGHT! Which means when I was asking about the game on Saturday they could have turned it on. But nobody took the time to try because they didn't THINK they had the package.

gg BWW...

But at least I got to see the game on Tuesday. :)

WTF!

After going up to Flandreu on Saturday to bowl in a no-tap tournament...I drove over to Buffalo Wild Wings. A bunch of friends were there.

Well..Got there about 9ish. Ordered a beer and was informed by a friend that the Padres were playing around 10ish.

I'M like "Freakin Sweet!".

So I proceed to ask the waitress to change the bigscreen to the game (since the STINKING NBA GAME THAT NOBODY WAS WATCHING WAS ON! More on this later). She said sure she would get someone on it.

20 min go by and I ask if they found the game. She said that she passed it off to the manager and if it wasn't on then they couldn't get it because they did not buy the baseball package. Everyone at the table was like "WTF!!!???". They have every other package like the NBA, NFL and NHL. But this year they decide not to get baseball? The bar was packed and nobody was watching the stupid NBA game. They were watching the college baseball game that was on TV.

So I am like...Whatever and got my tab and said I was going to go home to listen to it on the internet.

As I am driving away in my car I get a glance at the sign that says "MLB PACKAGE HERE!" WTF!!! I called my friends in the bar and told them about that. Still have not heard what the staff said.

So I get home only to find out FN Major League Baseball is charging to listen to the radio broadcasts now!!! WTF! If I was living in San Diego I would be able to listen to the radio for free. Why do they make us fans that live far away feel like were second class? Its BS!

I have already written MLB to bitch about this. I am not handing them $15 for something that they make the radio station that broadcasts the games in San Diego SHUT DOWN their internet feed while the games are on. That station can be listened to all day long for free online UNTIL THE GAME COMES ON! WTF!

Baseball is just trying their hardest to make us fans turn our backs and walk away...

The day...

I just wanted to put up a thought for today.

Today a friend of mine is putting her Mother to rest.

It's hard for me to imagine what this would be like, since I have not been through it.

I had never met my friends mother but she had to be a pretty good lady to have a daughter like this. My friend has always been cool to me when she never really had to be. Always tries to be nice and is almost always in a good mood when I see her. Always gives you a hug to let you know she is happy to see you. What more could you ask for in a friend?

I guess it is true that bad things happen to good people...Because a good person in her mid-20's should not lose her Mother. But I know she can handle it.

If all of you reading this would think about my friend and her Mom today I would appreciate it. It's the least I can do to help her out.

NCAA Finals and the REAL start to the baseball season!

Only thing that was bad was the stinkin Yankees won last night...Its not that I like the Red Sox, I just don't hate them as bad as the Yankees.

Its a rough day at work today. There is a guy from the UK in house, so all our customers "security sensitive" product has to be out of sight. Which means I have nothing to really do.

Ok...My big hubbub...

Ok...It might not seem like much to you guys...But it does to me.

This goes back in I believe November when I talked about an Old Chicago beer tour party.

Once again there was another mini tour. Once again there were prizes at the kick off party. Once again they screwed the F out of us people who were there to have a good time.

We were there and got a ticket. Only one ticket per person they say. Can only win once. Fine...Rules are rules.

But drunk suns a bitches who have like 8000 beer tours completed get all the prizes they can carry when they win once. One guy walked out with 6 shirts, a hat, and a beer sign all under his arm. What a load of crap. One win per person my ass.

Not only that. But they had "special drawings" for just the wait staff that were beer tour members that were working at the time. Now I don't have a problem with them being in the bucket for a random drawing...But when they get their own special drawing...And they get to pick WHATEVER they want...That's BS. They got to pick from all the cool signs and such...When ordinary people got keychains and cheap Budweiser tshirts.

Now through this whole thing...They would draw a name but NEVER say what they were drawing for. Which made it obvious that they were giving good prizes to the people they knew. Everyone I knew...That I knew didn't know the bar manager...Got nothing good. Any person he knew or any woman with big boobs that would rub them up against him would get prizes...Drawn out of the bucket or not.

I just don't like this double standard and favoritism shit. If you are going to run a legitimate business...Run it legitimately! Don't be playing favorites. Don't be screwing us who come down there on a weekly basis but are not a "regular".

Believe me...I will be putting this all in a letter to Old Chicago. This kind of crap has to stop...Or I will stop going there.

Yeah...Make that tonight.

Got so busy being Mr. Domestic and then going out last night I didn't get the chance to make the post.

Uh...Anyone see any good April Fools jokes on the web? Post them in my comments. I can't find really any. I am disappointed.
